Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef (lean)
- 1 onion, grated
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, grated onion, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything together until evenly incorporated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to an hour or until the mixture is firmer and easier to form into balls.
- Preheat a grill or broiler, brush with olive oil.
- Roll the meat mixture into medium-sized balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and shape them.
- Grill or broil the kofte until browned on both sides, about 8-10 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
