Philly cheesesteak

To start, you’ll need to gather the necessary ingredients. For the steak, you’ll want to use a ribeye or another thin cut of beef that can easily be sliced. You’ll also need some provolone cheese or cheese whiz, depending on your preference. The traditional onion to use for the sandwich is white onion, but yellow onion works just as well. Other ingredients you’ll need include a hoagie roll, butter, salt, and pepper.
Once you have your ingredients, it’s time to start preparing the steak. Begin by freezing the steak for 30 minutes to make it easier to slice. While the steak is freezing, slice the onion into thin strips. In a sauté pan, melt some butter and cook the onions until they become caramelized and translucent. Set the onions aside.

Cut the sub rolls in half and place them under the broiler to toast for a minute or two.
